A unique greeting for family, friends, or anyone.

This undertaking is in line with the “Action Towards Professionalism” project which was launched earlier this year and is aimed at the socio-professional integration of the young people in the care of social centers in Ialomita county area.

The official inauguration of the workshop took place on Wednesday, November 17th. The event took place at the Social Center in Urziceni and was attended by the representatives of the local administration, General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection of Ialomita County, as well as the local news media and the TV station.

58 adult and children participants competed on Sunday, June 20, 2010 in the benefit race “Alearga Pentru Viitor” (Run For The Future) organized by the Action Association in collaboration with the Snagov City Hall in Snagov Park. The event was organized in support of the “Action Towards Professionalism” project aimed at the socio-professional integration of the young people in the care of  child protection agencies in Ialomita county.

The run was organized in 3 stages:

• 500m FUN RUN was held for participants under 12 years old.
• Young people 12-18 years of age competed in a 1000m race.
• Participants over 18 years old ran on a picturesque 5 km Snagov forest track.

All winners received prizes and diplomas from the Romanian Athletics Federation. Special rewards for the top three finishers in every category and complementary prizes were provided by the sponsors of the event.
